Artists Profile

My two artists are friends and know each other very well both have a passion for music and media hence why they have decided to come together and make something new (upcoming artist). Anjeni takes media as well as 2 other a levels and Kwamina takes history with 2 other a levels he has an immense passion for music and sings in his free time this can be beneficial for my magazine as Anjeni is Mauritius and loves Indian tradition where as Kwamina is more of hip-hop and grime and that is exactly what I needed for my magazine.

This is my music magazine survey based on the genre that I am doing, this will give me a clear understanding if my genres are right and if I| should continue to make the music magazine or make changes to it , seeing from this I am going to stick to my ideas and make the music magazine accordingly because I believe I have enough knowledge for both genres.

Readers Profile

This is my readers profile and shows my target audience 14-18 year olds,this is what I think my audience will be like, they will have different choices of music genres and lifestyle as some may like music and some may prefer certain types of music.

Deconstruction of contents page

This contents page is really relate-able to this current youth and  it relates to my target audience for my music magazine and slightly shows the layout of how initially I want my magazine to look like hence why i chose to deconstruct this. Another reason of choosing this specific contents page was because there was a lot to annotate on and the main image was really significant to the contents page and it had a lot of meaning behind it. Lastly just by looking at this the readers will know that it is a music based magazine.

Deconstruction of front cover

The reason why I chose this specific music magazine cover to deconstruct is because firstly the model being grey-scale to the background really caught my eye as I had never seen a a music magazine cover like that before , secondly because its bold but simple and lastly because my initial plan was similar and that was to keep it simple but loud bold and unique.

Content Mood board

Making this mood board for the context pages made me realise that you don't need multiple pictures on the page ,this gave me an idea of how I want my context page to look like. All of these context pages have one thing in common and that is that there is only one picture which is very powerful it doesn't have many pictures without meaning like most of the other music magazines also the text on some of these are not very lengthy and kept straight to the point.

Mood board

This is my Music Magazine mood board from these I will decide what colour themed I want my magazine to be and the layout as well , in my opinion most of these magazines are very simple and all have a very nice colour scheme and that is my initial plan for my own magazine.

MY BRIEF

This brief showcases my thoughts plans and initial ideas fro this project, the reason why this brief has many advantages is because I can always refer back to it if we forget anything its more or less like  guide for us and for everyone.
